Why would someone want to use a disposable litter box?

One big benefit would be the convenience of not having to clean. Instead of scooping out used litter and cleaning the box, you can simply throw the entire box away and replace it with a new one. This may not be the most environmentally responsible action, but there are definitely cases where the convenience is justified. Consider the cases of travel, emergencies, and temporary use for fosters or other short-term situations.

Travel: If you're taking your cat on a trip, a disposable litter box can be a convenient solution. It's lightweight, easy to pack, and you can throw it away before you return home.

Temporary Use: If you're fostering a cat or kittens, providing temporary care, or introducing a new cat into your home, a disposable litter box can provide an easy and hygienic solution. If you're not planning on keeping a permanent box in your temporary location, a disposable box may be the only solution.

Emergencies: In the case of unexpected evacuation or relocation, a disposable box may be a great solution. If you have to leave your home with kitty unexpectedly, you might not be able to pack up every need, including a litter box. If you've got to stock up on supplies for a temporary situation, a disposable litter box might be the best solution.

Keep in mind that many of these disposable boxes are made of compostable or biodegradable material, to minimize the environmental impact of this short use item.
